Ok, so you're most likely wondering just how close Pink Runtz Auto is to the OG, photoperiod version of Pink Runtz. And look, we totally understand, as there are a bunch of, ahem, questionable seed banks out there offering what they claim to be auto versions of traditional classics.

In terms of lineage, just like Pink Runtz, our autoflowering version is a cross of Zkittlez x Gelato, with just the right amount of Ruderalis sprinkled in to give the strain that autoflowering kick. Zkittlez and Gelato are two of the most highly sought-after strains of the last decade, and so it just made perfect sense to let them get their groove on. Once we realized just how amazing the photoperiodic version of Pink Runtz was, we got straight after trying to create a stable auto version.

Through generations of back breeding (which took a little longer than we expected, but good things take time and all that, right?) we have created an extremely consistent Pink Runtz Auto offering. With minimal phenotype variation - important for auto as cloning these types of strains is impossible - Pink Runtz Auto works, and it does time and again.

A perfectly balanced hybrid, with a 50/50 genetic split between Sativa and Indica, this strain offers the best of both worlds, all while being one of the most dagnabbit-delicious autos we have ever laid our hands on. And to say we were surprised with the speed and vigor of not only the vegetative growth but also the flower production would be something of an understatement. Some phenos can finish in as little as 6 weeks from seed to harvest, while the majority will take closer to 8 or 9, dependent on the style of cultivation. Either way, super speedy.

Being a pretty perfectly balanced hybrid, you can expect to get the benefits of both Indica and Sativa all wrapped up in one frost-covered bundle.

Ok, but there is a veritable smorgasbord of balanced hybrids on offer these days. What makes Pink Runtz Auto special in terms of its psychotropic effects?

Well, you can expect a truly euphoric ride with this one. The effects are sedative but not overly so, creative yet also relaxing, and the overall vibe is one of balance. We think this is a strain that you could use to start or end your day, dosage-dependent of course.

The ride starts out more heavily on the Sativa side of the scales, with a heady rush kicking things off. This is usually followed by a smooth and even body stone, which creeps in slowly over the first 20 minutes or so. You should expect to feel energized and imaginative, with wandering thoughts and an underlying tone of joy. If you enjoy a good, stoned giggle (come on, who doesn't?) then Pink Runtz Auto will be right up your alley.

The mid to high-range THC count is backed up by around 1% of both CBD and CBG, both of which help to add a unique twist to the effects. It's an incredibly easy and even journey, and one that you will definitely want to revisit more than once.

No HST (High-Stress Training) with this one, as she just doesn't have the time to bounce back from any growth stunting that may creep in for heavy pruning or the like. She works great in any and all growing medium, but if you are just starting out then we suggest giving a coco-coir cannabis-specific blend a go. Coco-coir offers all the benefits of both soil and hydro all rolled into one, and is extremely forgiving. It's essentially a hydroponic medium that works more like soil, and with such a short period from seed to harvest, will allow for explosive growth in that tiny time frame.

Pink Runtz Auto is fruity, sweet, sour, and slightly earthy all at the same time.

The nose leans more toward the sweet and fruity side, but there are obvious earthy and diesel tones mixed in for good measure. If you are trying to grow discreetly and without a carbon filter, you may want to grab a handful of air fresheners as the last month or so is a stanky old time when growing this strain.

In terms of looks, this one is a real show-stopper. Covered with trichs to the point of looking almost dripping wet, and with strikingly large nugs mostly in the shape of spades or heats, Pink Runtz Auto buds are a sight to savor.
